A week ago today we dropped Tom off at the Salt Lake City Airport and sent him on his way to Korea where he will start his year long tour. We were running so late we barely had a chance to say goodbye and snap a quick picture before Tom ran through security trying to make his flight. Even though it was a hurried goodbye Cannon seems to understand that "Daddy went bye bye" and has been adjusting well. He seemed really traumatized the last time Tom left (back in Oct), especially since Daddy "disappeared" in the middle of the night and there was no formal goodbye. It was horrible! Tom has since made it safely to Korea after traveling for 24 hours straight, has moved into his dorm room, and started work this week after in-processing at the base. Cannon and I are just trying to stay busy and get back into our routine. 51 more weeks to go!
